By purchasing our books, ebooks, maps and merchandise you agree to the following policies and terms:

1.) When will my item(s) be shipped? - Unless otherwise noted, your book and map items will be shipped the next business day after your order directly from our main office. Guides ordered directly from our store should arrived within 1-3 business days. We do not ship any packages on Sunday or on National Holidays noted on the schedule linked above. If any additional problems or unexpected delays do occur, we will contact you immediately. Some guidebooks may be shipped from our distributors when necessary (this is clearly denoted on the page). Guides ordered from our distributors typically will arrive within 5-7 business days after your order. Map quantities between 1-10 will ship the following business day. Orders for over ten maps may take longer since we drop ship larger quantities from our distributor.

All other merchandise (calendars, magnets, towels, etc) orders from our store will ship within 1-4 business days and should arrive within 7-10 business days. All merchandise is shipped directly from our wholesaler in Hawaii via USPS mail and is insured (at our expense) to ensure prompt delivery.

All guidebooks will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail in designated Priority Mail envelopes. Items will always be shipped together when possible. Normally this involves a transit of about three days maximum. Holidays, etc however can delay mail. We are not responsible for delays caused at USPS. Some guidebooks may be shipped directly from our distributors. These guides will be mailed via USPS Priority mail and should arrive to you within 5-7 business days. All merchandise is shipped via USPS Priority mail unless otherwise noted.

3.) What carrier will handle my package(s)? - Your items will be shipped either via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail. Normally this involves a transit of about three days maximum when shipped from our local store, and between 5-7 days when shipped from our distributor. Holidays, etc however can delay mail. We are not responsible for delays caused at USPS.

4.) Do you have a return policy? - All items on our website are brand new and are sold as a final sale (no returns are permitted). If the item is damaged upon arrival we will first ask you contact USPS about the issue, and we may then replace the item free of charge. If we ship the wrong item, we will also replace it promptly if you will kindly return the other item to us. We have a 99% accuracy rate with our orders, so rest assured errors are rare.

5.) Will you notify me of my purchase? - All customers who purchase physical Books will receive an confirmation number when their item ships . Packing slips are also mailed to customers who have ordered Books shipped to them. Customers who are shipped items directly from our distributor will receive a packing slip at their discretion.

6.) Which guides are in color? - Currently ALL of our eBooks and eGuides are in color. The hardcopies of Maui - Mile by Mile and Kauai - Mile by Mile are both printed in grayscale internally with color covers only. The hardcopy of Hana Highway - Mile by Mile IS printed in full color. Our forthcoming Big Island - Mile by Mile guide WILL be printed in full color.

We are currently working very diligently to print all of our books in color with a new printer, and we should have those books by the following edition of each respective guide. You can find more details on this issue below.

7.) Will you answer any questions I have after I make a purchase? - Yes! Unlike many other guidebook and map retailers we are starting a relationship with our customers when you make a purchase, not ending one. We are more than happy to aid our customers with their questions, and we will always respond as quickly as we can to your questions. Please don't hesitate to contact us.

8.) I haven't received my eBook/eGuide, now what? - If you fail to receive an email (or direct link for instant purchases) within 48 hours please contact us via our contacts page and we'll be glad to assist you. Please provide the confirmation number of your payment; it should come to you via email from PayPal. Also, be sure our email wasn't flagged as 'spam' in your inbox. Our emails will come from "TradewindCreations.com" and sometimes are deleted by emails programs that mistake it as 'spam.'
