21st Annual Buy Back The Beach
Beachside luaus are always a fun time on the island of Maui, but it’s not often you get the chance to attend a luau and support the conservation of Hawaii’s beautiful land at the same time. Hosted by Old Lahaina Luau, this special event will feature live entertainment from the Old Lahaina Luau Entertainers and a super-duo of Eric Gilliom and Vince Esquire.

2023 Annual Juried Exhibition
This art exhibition at the Hui Noeau Visual Arts Center in Makawao is bold and broad - featuring the works of local artists in as many mediums as you can imagine. On display will be ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, photography, wood, printmaking, and much more. This year the juror will be the executive director of Hawaii Contemporary, Rosina Potter.

2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions
If you like golf, January on Maui is a month like no other. The first PGA Tour event of the year kicks off at the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort on January 4th. This is no amateur event. The top 30 players from the FedEx Cup Playoffs in 2022 will be playing, as will other qualifiers who won a PGA Tour event in 2022.

Smash Mouth
This one-of-a-kind, one-time-only concert at Kahului’s beautiful Castle Theater is your chance to see one of the most well-known pop-rock bands of the 21st century perform live in paradise. Whether you know Smash Mouth from their early hits like Walkin’ On The Sun or from their legendary sonic role in Shrek, you’ll have plenty of fun on this first Friday night of the year.

Maui Pops Orchestra - Broadway Pops
