The festival organizer confirms January 6–9, 2027, at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. The current site lists the artists and ticket options. Check the particular performance and its ticket terms before committing to a Kapalua evening.
Kapalua is in West Maui. If you are staying elsewhere, allow a dedicated outing rather than combining a late show with a full day across the island.
Friday, January 15: Hui Noʻeau’s art opening
Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center schedules the opening reception for its 2027 Annual Juried Exhibition from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, in Makawao. The exhibition continues through February 19, so visitors who miss the reception can still consider it on another Upcountry day. Recheck gallery hours before visiting outside the reception.
Sunday, January 17: Maui Oceanfront Marathon
The race organizer sets the 2027 marathon for Sunday, January 17. Its course begins at the Shops at Wailea, passes through Kīhei, and ends outside Launiupoko Beach Park. Runners should use the current event timeline for their distance and start instructions.
If you are not racing, consult the organizer’s current course and road-delay information before scheduling a fixed south-to-west Maui drive that morning. A published race route alone does not establish a specific closure time.
Choose a base for your event
