Downtown Lihue Night Market

For those interested in some local shopping, an unusual and cool farmers market is the night market in downtown Lihue. On the evening of Sunday, August 14th, Kress Street and Rice Street will be covered with food trucks, fresh produce, locally made crafts, and live entertainment to go along with it.

Old Koloa Town Market

One of Kauai’s most significant locations is Old Koloa Town. It is the site of the first-ever sugar plantation in Hawaii, and today many of the quaint historical buildings still stand - repurposed as shops, restaurants, and so on. It’s a place worth visiting any day of the week, but if you visit on Saturday, August 20th, you get the major bonus of attending the new town market. In the shadow of what is left of the old sugar mill, there will be food trucks, local artisans, and live music under the expansive shade of the monkeypod trees!

When: Saturday, August 20th, 4 PM - 8 PM
Where: 5330 Koloa Rd (Historic Old Koloa Town Courtyard)
More Info: Old Koloa Town Market

We hope you find this to be a helpful guide to planning your days in Kauai this August. As always, mahalo, and best wishes for your visit!
