Read the transcript
Scattered showers on the windward side this morning, with a few possible on leeward areas, as moderate trades continue through tonight. Winds drop off after dark.
Tuesday brings light winds and a weak sea breeze—your best day before conditions shift. Showers stay mainly windward and inland overnight, with a few possible afternoon showers on leeward slopes. Wednesday through Friday a low-pressure system stalls north of the islands and pulls in tropical moisture. Heavy rain is likely, especially on south-facing slopes. South winds will replace the trades, and a west swell from a distant typhoon may bring moderate surf to west-facing shores by Thursday.
Get your beach time and hiking in on Tuesday. Plan for rain mid-week on the south side.
