Summer is peak festival season in Hawaiʻi. Between May and July, the islands stack cultural celebrations, food festivals, music events, and parades on top of each other at a pace that makes it hard to visit without stumbling into something worth attending. Most of these events are free. The ones that are not tend to be worth the ticket price.
This is a month-by-month calendar of every major festival happening across the islands from May through July 2026. If you are planning a trip during this window, use it to time your visit around the events that interest you most — or at least to know what is happening nearby once you land.
