Kauai Events November
Events & Festivals on the island of Kauai
Kauai in November is slated to be a wonderland of intrigue. There will be moonlit markets. There will be historic plantation-era buildings flooded with marathon runners. There will be parades, and there will indeed be much music, dancing, and cultural celebration.
The palette of the curious traveler is, therefore, set to be broadly satiated by this, the oldest and most mystical of the Hawaiian Islands.
Here are the best events and festivals coming to Kauai in November 2023.

2023 Events and Festivities
Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run
The Old Koloa Sugar Mill run is unlike any other half-marathon in the world because it is set against the backdrop of Hawaii’s first-ever sugar mill - a mill that is getting dangerously close to 200 years old. In addition to the half-marathon, there will also be a 5K run, a 10K run, and a 5K walk. Please note - there is no same-day registration, so be sure to register ahead of time. See “More Info” for the link to sign up!
When: Saturday, November 11th, 7 AM - 11 AM
Where: Anne Knudsen Park, Junction Maluhia Road, and Emi Road, Koloa

Kauai Veterans Parade & Fair
On the first Saturday in November, downtown Lihue will become a rambunctious array of red, white, and blue as the island celebrates its veterans. There will be both a parade and a fair. Although the parade is scheduled to start at 10, those hoping to attend are advised to arrive earlier.
When: Saturday, November 4th, 10 AM - 2 PM
Where: Rice Street, Downtown Lihue

Makai Music & Art Festival
Once again, a staple of the Kauai event list is the Makai Music & Art Festival, which continues through November. Every Wednesday, enjoy food, local arts and crafts, live music, and - most importantly - warm sunshine and good vibes. The festival is free, and so is the parking!
When: Wednesdays, November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 1 PM - 5 PM
Where: 4080 Lei O Papa Road, Princeville (Makai Golf Club)

Eo E Emalani
This culturally rich annual festival is a celebration focused on honoring Queen Emma. Held in Kauai’s beautiful Kokee State Park, it is an afternoon filled with live music and various historical displays - the most distinctive of which is a performance depicting Queen Emma herself arriving at the festival.

Where: Kokee State Park, Hanapepe

Princeville Night Market
It’s always a lovely experience to shop for local goods under the Hawaiian sun - but what about the moon? Happening only once per month in the northern town of Princeville, November’s Night Market falls on the evening of Sunday the 12th.
When: Sunday, November 12th, 4 PM - 8 PM
Where: 4280 Kuhio Hwy, Princeville (Princeville Shopping Center)
