If your visit to Oahu would not be complete without a hike, Lanikai Hill is for you. This hill sits proudly behind the community of Lanikai, with an almost protective presence.
The view alone will make you wonder why you’ve never been here before.
For those who know, love, and understand this area, it comes as no surprise that this is an excellent hike, with the views over the ocean stretching as far as you can see. The best views of Lanikai and Waimanalo beaches top the list of reasons that make this a trail worth doing.
For those with movement issues, the entrance to the hill is probably not suitable, with a certain degree of mobility required for this adventure.
The initial climb is steep, but after that, the sheer spectacle of this beautiful part of Oahu will be apparent.
This area offers views for miles. From the township to the inviting waters and the impressive Mokulua Islands, it is no wonder people who reside here love it.
