A: You can choose to list on all the islands or just a few including - Oahu, Maui, Kauai, or the Big Island. A listing includes details about your service plus a Google map and photographs and/or videos if you wish to include them. You may opt to include reviews of your service and allow commenting on your entry, or not - you have full control of your listing and may update or change it at any time. By listing your company within our site, we'll also actively promote the services you offer through social media services such as Facebook and Twitter each month.
Q: How do you order and categorize the listings?
A: Each listing is categorized in several ways. First we select the island the listing is for (creating multiple listings if the business is present on more than one island) and then we classify/categorize the listing as an "Accommodation," "Activity or Tour," "Restaurant," or "Shopping." Next we classify which region of the island the business is located (this varies per island, see each island for more information). Each of these criteria is search-able by visitors, meaning your listing(s) will show up in multiple places or searches on our site (by region, by category, or by a combination there of).
Q: Do I have to allow reviews or comments on my listing?
A: You do NOT have to include commenting or reviews on your listing, and if you wish, we can disable this feature. By default, no listing is given a staff rating - but the public typically can review/comment on any listing on the site. We encourage you to keep the reviews on but will gladly disable this feature at your request.
Q: What order are the listings displayed in?
A: We display listings alphabetically in their respective category pages: Accommodations, Activity or Tour, Restaurant, or Shopping. However on the regions pages your listing will show up in the order of views it has received. If you wish to 'bump' or 'stick' your listing to the top of the other listings in your section, we can do so for a nominal fee of $35.00 per year.
Q: What kind of discount do you offer for multiple listings?
A: Contact us for the exact pricing structure for creating more than one listing (which is necessary when listing on more than one island). We offer generous discount for multiple listings; including for multiple properties and/or businesses.
Q: How long do I have to participate in the program?
A: That's completely up to you, you are never under ANY obligation to continue listing with our site. Once your listing has been paid for, it will remain on our site for the duration of the period you purchased (for up to one year).
Q: What are my payment options?
A: We prefer to set up your listing as a subscription through PayPal; as this ensures timely billing and the ability to cancel ANY time you wish. Additionally we can take your credit card information over the phone and process it that way; again, preferably in a subscription fashion to ensure timely billing each month/year. You will never be billed for any time you do not wish to be listed on our site. If you ask us to cancel your listing, we'll do so immediately and you will only be charged for the listing period you initially purchased.
