I'm no stranger to a good night out! Therefore, if I wake up the next day without a camera full of evidence of the previous night's crazy events and half empty bowl of super noodles on my bed side table, I know the evening was probably a super failure and let down.

Building up my excitement on a recent trip to Hawaii, I spent the majority of the plane journey visioning an array of umbrella filled cocktails, muscly hunks for waiters and a nightlife set to blow my London clubbing experience into a distant memory. Whilst these intoxicating images of my holiday were ambitious, Honolulu didn't fail to impressÎ__Ž_.on all levels. The morning after I arrived, glancing through the local Honolulu Star paper, a multitude of opportunities were jumping off the page at my hungry eyes. Club after club, party after every enticing party were all venues to be seen in. A tip for all party animals thirsty for a holiday full of unforgettable nights out... always check the papers!

Newsflash people! Cheap drinks, sophistication and luxury all rolled into one. It also served as a perfect get-starter for the crazy nights we embarked on after. However, for those who like to end the night at a more respectful hour, this is an enjoyable activity to get stuck into before dinner or your romantic stroll along the beach before bed.

We found a keeper! Apartment3 catered for our rumbling stomachs and our need for all night party times. Casual drinks in the afternoon soon turned into an all-night Happy Hour in this beautiful restaurant/bar/rave club. Although Honolulu was packed with bouncing party venues, we didn't feel the need to move from this one. Lazy you may say, but a genius idea to pack one venue full with all the necessities. Besides, you'll need your energy after all that dancing!

On a more casual level, if one night of action and one deadly hangover is enough for you... the Mexican restaurant Cha Cha Cha was on hell of a find. Situated on the beachside between Kalakaua and Kuhio you'll find the best tapas in town, washed down with a refreshing Margarita. Looking for something slightly more traditional? I had the best Hawaiian clay salt steak in town. Head to the ever busy neighborhood bistro 3660 on the Rise and you'll be stuck for choice.
