Tiki Tacos is one of our favorite casual restaurants in Kapaa. Owned by Bard Widmar and Hilda Morales, Tiki Tacos is a true family restaurant. Opened since 2011, it is very popular with locals for both take out and eat in dining because they serve tasty food at reasonable prices ($5-$9 per taco). Tiki Tacos is somewhat of a local secret with few visitors having found their way to their location in a small mall in Kapaa.
Tiki Tacos offers organic, GMO free handmade Blue Corn tortillas which are well worth the extra $1 per order. Some of my personal favorite dishes are the local organic ground lamb taco and the Ono fish taco. On the weekends they offer freshly made tamales and the homemade salsas verde and rojo have just the right amount of kick. I always leave Tiki Tacos feeling that I enjoyed a tasty meal at good value for my money.

The super laid back atmosphere makes it a good place for kids as well as adults. The service is very friendly and it is very much a good value. Sometimes they get very busy but even then they manage to get the food out relatively quickly considering the amount of order the kitchen is processing. All in all, Tiki Tacos offers a tasty, high quality meal at a good value in a casual atmosphere with friendly service.
