E Komo Mai Music Festival

This is the real deal - a 3-day, large-scale, all-encompassing outdoor music festival. Such festivals have become popular all across the globe, but few, if any, can boast such an absurdly beautiful backdrop. Oahu’s E Komo Mai Music Festival has all the promise of an unforgettable fun experience, so keep your eye on it.

Fall Harvest Festival at Waimanalo Country Farms

This wholesome outdoor tradition is great for the whole family. Romp through pumpkin patches, feed the animals or go for a hayride under the tropical sun. 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the festival, making it one of the longer-running traditions among the Hawaiian Islands. One of the unmissable features of this time-honored tradition? Lemonade - homegrown, homemade. Don’t leave the farm without some!

When: November 1st - November 12th

Where: 41-225 Lupe St, Waimanalo

13th Annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival

Three crucial days of this no-explanation-necessary event that has swept across the islands will occur in various locations around Oahu. Enjoy fine wines, delicious local cuisine, events hosted by culinary legends, and, most important of all, do it all among agreeable company in the gentle Hawaiian breeze.

Don’t let the prospect of that gentle breeze fool you into complacency as a ticket buyer! Multiple Oahu events for the festival have already, at the time of writing, sold out - so book as soon as possible!

Where: Various Locations (see More Info)

12th Makahiki Festival and Ke’Aloha Hula Competition

This is Hawaii’s only co-ed hula competition. In addition to hula, the event features games and activities related to the ancient Makahiki tradition - a welcoming of the new season and a celebration of the god Lono. Historians have likened these ancient games to the ancient Olympics. Many are unique - for instance, Ulu Maika (Hawaiian lawn bowling) or Lele Pahu (spash-making competition).

When: Saturday, November 4th

Where: Waimea Valley

Wahiawa Lions Club Veterans Day Parade

Veterans Day is coming to Hawaii as it is nationwide. One of the larger parades will be held in Wahiawa and organized by the local Lions Club. Following the parade, there will also be live music, craft fair booths, and - of course - food. Admission costs just $5.

When: Saturday, November 11th, 10 AM

Where: 1129 Kilani Ave, Wahiawa (Wahiawa District Park)
