Oahu Beach
This beach is noted for its swimming and surfing. The small protected bay area on the south side of the beach is the best for swimming. Home to some of the best waves in Oahu it's a very popular spot for surfers due to being on a very shallow reef.
There are lifeguards, picnic areas, restrooms, showers and phones
The wave break can be very dangerous, especially during low tide, as the reef is very shallow. The deeper waters around the breakwater often have very strong rip tides. Waves during the winter months may reach heights of up to twenty-five feet plus. From June through September stinging lime (seaweed) may be present. Obey all postings and warnings.
Off Hale'iwa Road in Hale' iwa off Highway 83.
