Lower Waikamoi Falls

Between Waikamoi Forest Trail and the Garden of Eden (near mile marker 10 on the Hana Highway) you might notice a small waterfall and pool near the bridge mauka on the Waikamoi Stream. Nothing about this falls or pool really warrants a stop unless it has recently rained, but most people don't know that and stop anyway.

A larger falls exists upstream, and after a rainstorm is an incredible sight. If you are driving the road during or after a rainy spell, keep an eye out for the falls as it will be partially visible from the highway. If you're feeling adventurous and the flow isn't too strong, you might want to try and walk up the stream bed to view the upper falls.
