This small beach is not often used, but just as respectable as some of the others in Wailea. Located behind the Kea Lani Beach Hotel and the Polo Beach Club, it was named after the club. The water is more shallow than most beaches here and has some slippery rocks, but it still offers a good experience. The beach has restrooms, a shower, picnic tables and BBQ grills. Snorkeling can also be good.
Whale watching at this beach during the humpback whale season is good. There is an excellent view of Molokini with Kaho'olawe behind it, and of course, the channel where the whales like to swim.
Weather is really the only issue on this beach. When the trade winds pick up in the afternoon, a strong current can develop off shore. The parking lot is fairly safe, but don't leave any valuables in your car or unattended on the beach.

Puamana Park is a great spot for a shady family picnic or a frolic on the slim strand of sandy beach. The park, which is just south of Lahaina, is also the spot where the whaling brig The Carthaginian was sunk to create an artificial wreck and snorkeling attraction. You can also get some nice views of neighboring island, Lana'i.
Take Highway 30 south from Lahaina. It is the first beach park on the right at mile marker 19.

This peaceful park is great for family outings. There is a large, man-made wading pool for kids that is protected from the waves. You can catch a glimpse of the neighboring islands of Kaho'olawe, Molokai, and Lanai from the park's picnic area.
There is paved access and parking available as well as telephones, restrooms and grills. This is not the best place to snorkel but surfing and swimming are decent.

Kama'ole Park is located in the town of Kihei and is divided into three distinct beach areas. Kama'ole I has the largest and nicest beach of the three with fine white sand and great swimming conditions. There's also a grassy area at the south end for picnics and playing.
Kama'ole II is located a little further south along South Kihei Road and though the beach is a bit little smaller, it still has good swimming.
Kama'ole III is very popular with the locals since the waves here are more consistent making it a great place for boogie boarding. The sandy beach is small but it has a large grassy area, perfect for kite flying, picnics, and relaxing. The sunset photos below were taken at this beach - overlooking the islands of Kaho`olawe and Lana`i.
