Corrections

Keanae Arboretum & Garden (Page 16) - Directions say the Arboretum and Garden are 8/10 of a mile past mile marker 16. This should be switched with the directions for Ching's pond. Keanae Arboretum is actually a half mile past the 16 mile marker, and Ching's Pond is near the 8/10 mark past mile marker 16.

Ching's Pond (Page 18) - Directions say Ching's Pond is half of a mile past mile marker 16. This should be switched with the directions for Keanae Arboretum. Keanae Arboretum is actually a half mile past the 16 mile marker, and Ching's Pond is near the 8/10 mark past mile marker 16.

Pua'a Ka'a State Wayside Park (Page 21) - In Pua'a Ka'a State Wayside park we mistakenly labeled the falls located there as Pua'a Lu'u falls which is incorrect. We did correctly note the location of Pua'a Lu'u falls on page 38.

Hana Town (Page 28-32) - These pages on Hana town in east Maui repeat a lot of the same information. This was an error when combining two of our previous guides.

Highway 31 (46) - This page states that from mile marker 25 forward the road becomes paved again. This should actually be mile marker 33 forward.

Haleakala Intro (58) - The statement at the end of this page about purchasing the 'Beyond Hana" guide at our website url can be ignored. This guide is already included in the previous section of the book.

Credits - The credit to Haleakala National Park (sign) on Maui snaring the sun should actually be removed, the image was not used in this guidebook.
